Up Trails Road

  • PLEASE MAKE NOTE OF THE FOLLOWING:

    • We have not attempted to show trail intersections on these maps.  They are created from a GPS track of rides.
    • Most landowners DO NOT want any Motorized Vehicles on their land!
    • Please be wary of landowner relations:
      • Do not litter
      • Try not to skid too much - stay aware of trail erosion
      • Be courteous to other trail users

We ride many trails in Southern Maine and NH.  Here are a few.

  • Littlefield/Walnut Hill Loop
    • Killer climb - not for someone who likes flat trails
    • Littlefield Loop 2
      • Same as above, but loops back into itself through the woods instead of down Walnut Hill
  • Burnt Car - Hanson's Ridge - YMCA  Loop
    • Not much climbing, fun somewhat challenging terrain - about 10 miles.  You may want to talk to one of the owners at McDougal's Orchard before riding up there.  They don't mind bicycles, but they appreciate people asking first!
  • Shaw's Ridge to Hanson's Ridge
    • Moderate climbing, fairly easy terrain - about 8 miles.  The trail takes you to the top of Shaw's Ridge, down through town on various trails including part of the Mousam Way trail, and then climbs to the top of Hanson's Ridge.
  • Aggy - The Official Map
    • Official map of Mount Agamenticus from ARMBA (see their site from our Links) showing the different uses allowed on the trails

  • Aggy - Our favorite Aggy ride
    • Ride over many types of terrain from hard pack trail to swamps to the grueling climb up Second Hill.  You never actually climb Aggy on this ride.
  • Aggy - Reservoir Side of Road
    • Not much climbing, some great singletrack.  Be careful not to get lost - it is easy to do out there.
  • Bear Brook
    • Park Map of trail network.  You get one at the gate if you ask (and pay your $3.00).  Be sure to stop at the toll both on your way in.
    • Bear Brook - Our favorite ride
      • Almost all singletrack!
  • Blue Job
    • Blue Job State Park, just West of Rochester NH - Great view at the top!
